Are you a "meh, cell phone shots are fine." or a "they're only little once" type person?
The truth is; 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗿. If you're the type that cherishes quality and want something that simply increases in emotional value for years to come, then I certainly wouldn't find a cheap and inexperienced photographer to capture your precious memories!
I heard a quote a long time ago about photographers, and it's stuck with me ever since: "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘀𝘁." Think about that for a moment.
Yes, we're busy. Yes, sometimes money is tight. But in 10 years, when you look back to their tiny smiles and curly hair, do you want the images to be too dark and slightly blurry? Of course not, you want quality portraits of your precious family.
How about Uncle Bob who offered to cover your wedding day (one of the most important events in your life) for "free". It may sound good at the time because "WOW, we're getting a deal here!" What does that deal cost you in the long run?
I just want everyone to stop and think a moment about what is more important. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸.
